What are you thankfull for

Thought I would start this new thread. Just wondering what everyone is thankfull for this thanksgiving


I give thanks for my family my wife and my 3 great kids. They allow me to do what I love. I am thankfull for my families health and that includes my leo's. I am thankfull for this forum where I have met wonderful people that has helped me more than you know. And last but not at all least For our soldiers that are not home for this holiday that are fighting for us so we can be. For the ones who gave their lives most of all.

Well I am thankfull, (as you stated) for my family. who support me in everything I do, for the health and "spunkiness" of my almost 7 yrl old and I am thankfull that I am able to maintain two jobs, so that i may take care of myself & my son. I also am thankfull for the forum & all of it's wonderfull members!!!! and for the beautiful little creatures who have made the dark part of my days. so much brighter with thier fabulous little smiles, everytime i look at them.

I'm so thankful to be blessed with Grandparents (who are essentially my parents) that are in good health at 80. I'm thankful to feel very secure in a pretty crazy world. I'm thankful for our friends on and off this forum. I'm thankful for our pets present and past. Most of all I'm thankful for my wonderful husband who puts up with my brattiness all the time and indulges my whims. The list is too long but those are the big ones!

Wanted to add this for my Family Im the bald guy and my wonderful wife. I am holding my little girl madison she will be 2 in feb my daughter below me Lindsay she is 6 and my son Hunter 9. Next to my wife is my Brother and his wife and daughter Grace. I am a lucky man and a very thankfull one too.

I am thankful for my family, my animals, and to have so many wonderful friends! But, I am most thankful that a Child was born 2,000 years ago in Bethlehem that grew up to teach me how to be a good person, and gave up His life so I can be a human being that makes mistakes.

I am thankful for many things. As most, I am thankful for my wonderful and loving family, my fiance Mike and his loving family, and all of my friends. I am thankful for a roof over my head, clothing on my back, and food to eat. Thankful for my job, and all of our animals, even if the cats drive us a little crazy sometimes. Thankful to have the ability to make my own choices, even if sometimes they aren't the best ones. Thankful for life, even though it can be very dark and scary sometimes. Thankful for all of those who have died for us to have the freedoms that we have today.. and the list goes on and on.

Its hard sometimes, as greedy as we humanly are, to be thankful for everything we should be thankful for. It's an amazing experience to have your eyes opened, and see things you have to be grateful for, that others cannot even begin to imagine.

With that said, there is little in my life that I am NOT thankful for, little that I take for granted. I make it a point every year, to volunteer at local soup kitchens, and shelters whenever I get the chance. I've rang bells for the Salvation Army a few times, and was able to raise over $500 each time. Not only is it doing something special to help your community, but it is such an eye opener.

This time of year, is when I realize how selfish I have been, and how much I have to be thankful for, that I was too stupid and self absorbed to realize.

So to sum it up, there is nothing in my life that I am not thankful for, including the trials and tribulations God seems fit to put in my life.
