My favorite is (obviously) my only gecko, Wrex. He's named for a character in the Mass Effect video game series. The next gecko I get, a super snow female, will be named Shiagur, also a character from ME.

We do an international theme here. We have Gustav--our Russian; Sophia--our Italian sweetie; Pippi Longstocking--she's Swedish; Rosita--our Spanish gal; Hank--the all American boy, and our new boy ARRIVING tomorrow will by named Syd--Australian--(Sydney) LOL We have a lot of fun with naming. Maybe try for a theme.

Kasey, I love Tesla and Gordon Freeman. Big win!

Also... Waaagh! ???

Thanks! I noticed your ME name.. I love those games. ;)

And "Waaagh!" is a Warhammer: 40k reference.. my boyfriend is really big into it and it's kind of been a joke between the two of us for a while that I would name one of my animals that.

Had Ozzy and Sharon for a season, then Sharon moved south. Leaving Ozzy to mingle among the other ladies.
At age three my daughter named one of my first females Coconut.

I've been having the same issues as of late. Most of the names for ours come from mythology and astronomy.

Males -
Thor, Bubba (thanks to the hubby), Grendel, Loken (from warcraft), Jinx, Casper, Gryphon, Orion (thinking this might be a female, but still too young to tell.), and still one with no set name.

Females -
Calypso, Luigi, Adinar (from warcraft), Holly, Leonidas, Yoshi, Amber, Sobe, Pandora, Athena, Hera, Talia.

Other who have passed - Loki, Dante, Obi, & Odin.
