What can I do for my leo before, while and after shedding?

My gecko has turned all pale. How long until it sheds? What can I do for it? Also, note that it has a fractured leg that has been healing for the past week.

He should shed in the next 24-48 hours. Make sure his humid hide is nice and humid. Otherwise, just leave him alone and let him do his thing. Once he's no longer white, check him over to be sure he got it all off...especially on the broken leg (what makes you think it's broken?).

It walks really weirdly like he has no control over it. It is also very flimsy and wobbly

Stripes just shed two hours after I posted this thread. How do I check if there is any skin left on him without moving him that much? He also is not used to my hand so he gets scared.

Forgot to say that Stripes didn' eat anything before and after shedding. Is this normal?

Just a good visual inspection is fine.
No need to reach your hand in there or anything.
A small flashlight might come in handy though.

My leo only eats the shed from his body and leaves the rest for me to pick up. Its fine if they dont eat during shedding. To check for unshed skin, just look for places on his (or her) body that is slightly whiter than the surrounding area.
