Im new to the leo keeping but im pretty well informed on care from other forums and surfing this one, and i have a few(okay many) tanks with fish and other lovley animals. So my main question was if anyone could tell me what my new leos morph might be? I got him when he was 2 weeks old and hes around the 7weeks period right now. I know hes still in mid morph but im unsure now what his color will be (thought he was a tangarine, straight and simple) but now im unsure. Also im unsure yet of sex, i havnt seen much of pores yet but i know it can take a few months. so for noe he is Rango lol.

sweet, whats CT? This does explain that green area between his eyes. So do hypo tangs have alot of spots or does it varie? im having trouble finding pics. I was told by a friend who had a leo that these guys needed 20gals. I will still up him just for space. And yes those are butter container warm and humid hides, he has a log cool hide.

Hypo has less than 10 spots on its body. The blue/green between the eyes is common. And 10 gallon is plenty for one gecko. My adults stay in 16qt rubbermaid bins, and babies in plastic 'shoeboxes'. As long as it has a uth stuck under one side of the tank you are good to go. And ct is carrot tail, that orange on its tail.

Thanks, im new to the lingo, more of a fish person myself, still its nice to know. I love him dearly. Cant wait for him to be full grown. as for tanks im thinking of just building one to fit my nightstand, they only need to be 12" high right? Im also waiting to be able to sex him so i can figure if i can get another leo without risking 2 males. He is home bred by some local who takes the young to my lfs, unfortunetly they dont keep tabs on this guy so i cant call him and ask what temps he incubates at or who the parents are.
