I just got my new gecko and have two questions about food. First, should I not expect him to eat for a few days while he is getting used to things? And second, what should I be feeding him now? I have mealworms, which is what the pet store told me. I have also hears at this early age it is ok and good to give them small crickets. I would appreciate some feeedback on this. Thanks!

Keep a small dish of mealworms in his enclosure (add some calcium powder in the bottom), and you can also feed it appropriate sized crickets dusted with calcium powder, and vitamins weekly. You are right that it may not be too interested in food for a few days until it feels secure in it's new environment.

Defently give him some time to settle into his new home before feeding. As far as what to feed it, you can feed with mealies or crickets, or a variety of both. Make sure to dust the mealies or cricks, 3-4 times a week for babies.
