What do you consider a RAPTOR?

I think on this 1, Ron Tremper has a right to insist that only those that fit his descriptions and criteria should be called raptors since he really was the one who created the said morph.

Also, thanks for all your samples, they really clear up a lot of speculations and confusions. :)


And that's the thing. Ron doesn't always go by his original descriptions on multiple morphs. From what I understand, he doesn't stick to the true raptor meaning anymore either.

Looking at Ron's page, he uses the term raptor with all. He just adds tangerine, reverse stripe, banded, snow, etc.

I think my problem with using RAPTOR/RADAR/Typhoon to describe geckos that are only Tremper/Bell/Rainwater Eclipse is my feeling that the community needs to stop making up morph names for geckos with only a few traits. Save the morph names for combinations that are, like, five or more words long... ;)
