Hello, i just wanted to share of a male i bought at P*tco in january, i usually dont buy geckos from chainstores but this lil one just caught my attention and i couldnt let it go, ($15 bucks!) he looked like nothing special but it turned out to be a stunning animal for me! I got a female for him (second picture) and i think next season will be HOT! I will try to make a line of tangerine based on him called "Fuego" (if the name isnt in use yet LOL), i love the dorsal striping and the contrast between the diferent shades of orange and greenish he has, tell me what do you think, all advice about what traits would you like to linebreed is welcome, hope you like it!

Thanks a lot guys. As i got it from a petstore, i dont know anything about his genetics, (i think its a weird SHTCT),the very few spots it has are brown, not black at all... Anyway we will find out next season, im pairing it to a Tremper Enigma or a Sunglow who has an incredible Carrot Head, i wonder how will the enigma affect his colorations, thanks a lot, i hope Kelli comes to take a sneak and tell me what does she think about him... So what would u recommend to line breed about this one?

personally i would just breed it to other tangerines and keep the albino out of them. i would recommend this because you dont know if its heterozygous for one of the albino genes already. especially if you plan to sell the offspring to people who plan to breed them. not knowing the genetics can get sticky. thats just what i would do personally, what you decide on is completely up to you.
either way you have one amazing animal! and good luck with your breeding plans.
