I think the powder method is tried and true. There is no need to switch to something that is working unless the new method is better. I also don't see how this would make it easier or better. In fact, I see it as being more of a hassle. "Dusting" your feeders is fairly easy and simple with no wait time. I would be more comfortable staying with the powders.

I would think it's be easier and less messy to do the powder shake-n-bake thing than to spray all the feeders evenly and hope that it dries before they rub it off...how do the supplements compare in content? If it has all the same needed nutrients in needed proportions, you could experiment with it. But not all vitamins are water-soluble, so I would wonder what might be missing.

If you feel you need liquid calcium, most pharmacies are willing to order calcium glubionate for you.
