This guy posted on craigslist. I really like the jungle in the first picture.
He said his geckos are 25-40.

What is a normal price for a jungle like that? He hasn't emailed back on the jungles specific price

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/pet/763806346.html

I am afraid of being screwed over (It is craigslist)

So can anyone give me advice one

1) Choosing a healthy baby
2) How to distinguish morphs at a young age
3) What prices are reasonable

**I called him. The jungle in the first picture is 40 but the rest in the others are 25.
He said he bred two female hypo tangerines with a male tangerine and got these babies.

Is that still good?

well to be called a Jungle they need to have a broken pattern on the tail so its just an aberrant. They might tangerine out because of the parents but they aren't jungles. The price is an OK price, but you can definitely find a better deal somewhere else:p

Then for picking a healthy baby, you cannot really do this over the internet, I would just look to make sure the picture isn’t of a skinny gecko, that the gecko doesn’t have stuck shed, or anything like that. I would try to get from any breeder of this site. I think most breeders on here care for their animals, and you are likely to get a healthy one. And if not I believe most if not all have a health guarantee.

For distinguish morphs at a young age, I cannot be of much help. I haven’t hatched out to many, and the appearance varies too much from morph to morph to give a complete list.

Then for reasonable prices, for a jungle $40-50 + shipping sounds fine to me. But it really depends on morph, quality of that morph, and the bloodline of that morph, when you go more in-depth.

Okay well the link worked this time, but I wouldn’t personally buy those geckos. The water bowl was empty, and seemed to be filled up with “stuff”. The pattern on them might change as well. I would just really consider looking at the classified adds on here, or kingsnake or something, to find a better gecko. JMO

you can always look at mine LOL. If I was going to buy a gecko from that person I would buy the second one on the right hand corner. It will tangerine out from the looks of it.

Well I already ordered from celebrity geckos and plan on ordering from OG geckos and yellermelon. The thing is I am paying usually 100 per gecko with shipping if not more online.

These are about 5 miles away, so I am only paying 25.

How do I know they are tangerine? Thats what I dont get. I think I asked yellermelon on this too on his post.

Oh I forgot about the broken bands. But I assume once I look at them at person I can see some tang?

This is supposed to be a birthday present from a friend. The cheapest geckos online are 85. I don't think she wants to spend that much.

For now they aren't tangerines but because of the parents they will get some. The baby I was talking about has like a brownish orange and that will turn into a yellow orange when it gets older. They also look like they will be hypos at least and possibly baldies. You cannot be certain when they are just babies, but with a jungle or stripe you can see it from the beginning because their pattern is placed in weird ways and if they have a stripe on the tail they are well stripes :) Hope I was clear enough;) I also have great Prices on my jungles if you would be interested :main_rolleyes:

Yeah well I guess I wont risk it. Plus my friend is convinced they are normals and doesn't want to buy one now for me.
Your prices are good! But remember there is shipping! I love m-4 but yeah, my friend is cheap.

comparising pics :)
1-Jungle/stripe
2-normal
3-normal
4-jungle
baby jungles and stripes are born with their pattern, but the gecko will color up better as it gets older.

Psh I love m-3 too but its on hold.
Like I said, ordering from you would be no problem if shipping wasn't that expensive. I think you gave me a estimate of 42 dollars plus 35 for the gecko.
I know it doesn't seem much to me, but my friend it does.

Oh well, I am getting hopefully yellermelons reverse stripe as soon as my boyfriend gets paid and a sunglow for OG geckos my first paycheck.
Not that I need a whole bunch of geckos but its what she wanted to get me.

But yeah I def see the difference now. I am such a noob!
I didn't even know different morphs existed until I got my rescue normal. *sigh* I have to catch up~
