So, we're going to start offering leather buckle dog collars on our site.
We're going to be offering a double leather (a leather collar, with a thinner strip of leather on it with a D-Ring in it), and regular leather collars.

We made this one for our dog today.
It was NOT easy at all to make.
But I'm rather proud of it since it's basically the first collar like this we've ever made.

We are already aware of what we will and will NOT do next time when we make a collar like this, but it's a pretty sturdy collar.
I think you could use it on an elephant and it wouldn't break out of it!:main_laugh:
It's 2" wide.

The leather strip with the D-Ring on it:

The buckle is a roller buckle and is solid stainless steel.

What do you guys think??
Would you put something like this one your bulldog or mastiff?
Or lab?
Or any bigger-type dog?

i like it but one thing you are gonna have to find out if the red dye on the leather is gonna bleed because that would suck. me likes though

Thanks!

Well, my best e-friend owns a collar business, and she is discontinuing collars like this because she does more decorative collars (embroidery, conchos, fabric, ribbon and nylon collars as well), and she wants more time to devote to those.
So, she sold us the leather she used for these.

I doubt it'll run as she's used it before.:D

oh!
I also wanted to mention that we'll be offering different color combos.
We have brown, black, red, and an orange-tan color for the base collar, and then two different blues, red, green, purple, some pink, and white for the strip on the collar.

So that color combo is not the only one available.
And they'll be made to size to each individual dog, too.:main_yes:
