What Does 100% Het Mean?

100% het means that the gecko is guaranteed by the seller/breeder to carry 1 copy of a recessive gene. Het X Het would give you 25% homozygous animals, 50% het animals, and 25% none heterozygous or homozygous animals. Homozygous animals carry 2 copies of the said genetics.

In theory it isn't a textbook definition of being het but it is one copy of the Mack Snow gene. When you put it in a genetics wizard or into the punnet square, it looks like it is het. Het is used when talking about a recessive gene though.

So does that mean that a Mack snow 100% het typhoon is just a mack snow x typhoon? (just to make sure I understand). Thanks!

Het means the gene inherited from each parent is different, regardless of whether the relationship is dominant/recessive or codominant or otherwise. It is an abbreviated form of "het for wild-type and (mutant gene)." :)
