What Funny Things your Geckos Do?

This morning i was changing the water in the girls Tank and my little Peach is walking in slow motion and her tail is wagging like a dog ...i know she about To lay eggs ( lay box is in there ) but she is so Cute when she does this ....and then Tico is atop of the little house like shes keeping Gaurd.... One more good thing about personalty of geckos, got to love them !!!!! ...

This morning I was lowing in a cricket with tweezers and my leo soared through the air and bit it out of the tweezers in mid air! Almost knocked them out of my hand. lol

I have a raptor that will bite the tong instead of the food, so I have to be careful when lowering the tong.

My juvenile will try to climb the glass and constantly look up at the mesh top until I take him out for a bit. I literally only have to reach my hand in just low enough and he climbs on it. Once he's out for a bit and roamed around, he settles down, goes back in the tank and sleep or eat. Funny thing is this particular juvenile was the most skittish one out of them all, but turned out to be the one that wants to be handled the most.

I have another leopard gecko that will stare at me when I'm at my desk. I would look over and find him just eye balling me with such fierce look. He's the one in my icon picture. If I move so he can't see me, he'd get into another position so he could.

When I hold Luigi he will let me lightly pet his upper back for about 3 seconds,then he wants to go to the other hand. Today I was holding him and he jumped on my shirt and tried to crawl up to my face. The best thing is when I rattle the feeding bag with his crickets he runs out of his hide and keeps staring at me wanting his crickets.

Tico before i mated her use to climb into my shirt pocket and poke her head out .....and play on my Keyboard while i was trying to type .....

I think the cutest thing my gecko does is when I have her out exploring, I usually block her way when I feel she's going too far, so she stops and will try to look over my hand, and when I raise my hand, she'll look under my hand, and continue this until she realizes it's easier to just turn around lol.

Yeah mine will randomly charge towards me sometimes when I'm sitting there and I have no clue why. :main_laugh:

i have 3 geckos in a huge cage and my girls always sit on my male. poor guy

I think leopard geckos are just funny animals, period. Toon makes me laugh every day. That silly little lizard walk, the smiley face, the head snap when zeroing in on prey when she first spots it. :main_laugh: When she wants to be held, she paws at the door in the corner of her tank like a little dog. She stares at me when I'm in the room; from what I read, a lot of geckos do that. I always wonder what is going through her lizard brain when she's staring at me.

My African fat tail, Hugzor, (I know, not a leo, but close enough!) is even funnier. He's still so tiny but he runs around his tank with his little plump body, ravenously attacking his crickets and roaches. What makes it so funny to me for some reason is his eyes. He has these big black eyes that make him look psychotic while he's running around. I always feed Toon first and their tanks are side by side. He watches us impatiently, his little nose glued to the glass. I love my funny lizards.

My girls do this too.. must be a control thing ..or maybe hes getting a back message lol

Whenever I reach into her enclosure, one of my female leos will quickly walk over to my hand and stand in it, waiting to be picked up. I've never had a leo that likes coming out of the enclosure as much as she does.

for some reason if I take mine out she goes straight in the left sleeve of my t-shirt never the right one, after a few minutes and seems to be confortable there on my shoulder in my t shirt as if it was her personal lounge area to see the world and observe whatever is happening around her whit her head poking out... I always assume she like it because its small, covered, warm and dark
