Today was the first day of the Atlanta Repticon and I have a new addition!

Meet Gordon (Gordon Freeman), my first ball python! He's 3 months old, CBB, 105 grams, and currently in shed. :)

Pictures!

congrats. I saw many BPs that I wanted, as well as a few other snake species... I was strongly informed NO MORE SNAKES ha. I saw some gorgeous bumble bees and pastels that I wanted, as well as 2 low-white piebalds. But, oh well one day. I'm sure they wouldn't have noticed a few more snakes in the house, but I didn't want to stir things up too much. Now, if the boyfriend had instigated any on the snakes, I probably would have bought another BP though.

They had a TON of sand boas and a few rosies that I was interested in. The sand boas didn't look all that good though, but some of the rosies were ok. Not the locale I was looking for. Wait... take that back.. There was one of the locales I was looking for, but it wasn't the same quality that I've seen.

Ha, yeah, I have the same problem! My parent's aren't going to be terribly pleased with me. BA Reptiles had quite a few looker ball pythons but so did that couple in the corner (I don't remember their business name, if they had one, they were really quiet and kind of stand-offish.)

I was surprised at the number of sand boas compared to the last Atlanta show back in January. Most of the ones that I saw (other than from Wildside Exotics) were saharan sand boas, which I am not working with. Did you bring anything back? :D I wish I knew you were there, my boyfriend and I were there most of Saturday and part of Sunday.

We went Sunday for a few hours. I got 3 pac mans. Well, I got one and my boyfriend got 2, but they're all at my house. I hope they all stay with me. They're neat. I'm thinking about continuing research on amphibians. I want to post pics, but they're hard to get good pictures of. With flash and they all get washed out, and without flash the picture is too dark.

I almost got a el rosario rosy, but it just wasn't the quality I've seen. It was nice, but I think I'm just going to get a cabo rosy or something like that instead. Almost got some other kind of snake but at the time can't recall species... :-/

I also almost got a few cresteds for a project I'm working on, but most of the geckos I have for that project are unsexed, and I don't want to get overrun, even if that's overrun with females. I'd still have to make a cut somewhere. I'm just going to be highly upset if I have too many males, as I probably should have just got this juvie female.

blood python. lol that's what it was. Either way, no more snakes in the house right now, since I still live at home.
