My tremper albino is acting really wierd.
I just lifted up his hide and he started "screaming" at me and jumping everywhere and moving his tail very rapidly then his front legs went straight and he started shaking. Now he is just laying limp and his feet are figgiting a little bit
He doesnt look like he is going to make it. Im not sure what happened can anyone tell me?

What are the tank temperatures? Is there a chance that the UTH could have overheated or something? I've never personally had anything like that happen but it doesn't sound good.

umm i dont think so. All i did was gently lift up the hide. i didnt pick up the tank and start shaking him around. lol ;) He did poop though while this was going on.

how old is he? how long have you had him? the leg stiffening, screaming, tail wagging, etc. are all defense responses. he was warning you to leave him alone. and if he was sleeping, just gently removing the hide could have ticked him off. is he normally easily handled? have you tried to move him again since this happened?

I think it may just be a personality thing too. I have had mine for 1 1/2 months and he still is only out to eat or poop. Eats like a horse and is very spunky when its out just not out much.

Hes 4 months and ive had him about 2 months. I handle him about 2-3 sometimes more times a week for ussually about 15 minutes. So its not like he has never been handled before and everytime i go to get him all i do i lift up the hide which he is always under and put my hand in there and he usually will come onto my hand or i will gentley grab him and he has no problem with it .

And right now he is just kind of limp and not very responsive to anything

he's still young so i would just leave him alone for a day or so. check on him in the morning and see if he's moved. if not you might want to get him to a vet.

sounds like seizures to me. He may have been having them before you picked up the hide to check on him and you just caught him in the middle of an episode. :( I would consider going to the vet.
