my leo has this big black spot on his stomach. what is this? ill try to get a picture but he is never out and i dont want to hurt him when i pick him up

It could possibly be the gallbladder as you sure it is not blue?

Pictures would be awesome. Try putting your gecko on a clear dish or critter keeper and take pictures from underneath.

I could be it's liver (large black area) or it's gall bladder (small black spot). How old is your gecko? Small, thin, or albino geckos show this more than others.
