my leopard gecko looks like it has a fluid filled sac or something like that behind his front legs ~ what could it be? Thanks

If it's something like this:

(Not my gecko - Found on google.)

It's just calcium and fat storage.. It's perfectly normal and healthy.

Pictures would help, though!

My Gecko has the exact same thing that I just noticed this morning.... If its storage that's fine... but why are they storing their calcium there?

This is exactly what mine look like! Thanks so much! I thought she might be sick but I am happy to know this is normal and she is healthy!

They will store the calcium for the breeding season. It is great for females because they need the calcium for the eggs. If you dont want it there just cut back on the calcium intake.

I stopped dusting the crickets but left the calcium dish in his tank and the bubbles are almost gone already.
