What Kind of Car Do You Drive?

I've always believed that the kind of car/vehicle a person drives says a lot about their personality. I'm an outdoorsy nature type girl who likes to go camping, fishing, kayaking, etc. so I drive an off-road type SUV. I've modified my ride a bit so I can go off paved roads.
Here's my ride, a 2003 Nissan Xterra, 3" body lift, 33" tires, and 1.5" suspension lift. It gets a measly 15 MPG (kind of contradicts my whole nature loving persona with that kind of gas mileage & pollution doesn't it? Oh well...lol)

Share pics of your rides or just state what kind of vehicle ya drive. This should be an interesting thread!

I have a 1995 Buick Roadmaster. It's a HUGE "Grandpa" car but it has a standard corvette engine. I'm into comfort and speed so this car fits the bill to a tee.

You think you have bad mpg, my car gives me 12.5mpgs on a good week and has a 22 gallon tank. I don't complain though. If I did, I wouldn't own one.

i have a black '02 pathfinder se 4x4... i thought my gas mileage was bad (~18 mpg, 20 on long trips home where i use a whole tank in one shot)

luckily for me i get paid mileage for work so that helps cover my gas, but i'm still entertaining the idea of trading it in on a smaller, newer car that's better on gas if i can find somewhere that will give me a reasonable amount to trade it in...

A bit off topic, but...
Good luck on that! Dealerships are sharks and offer you peanuts for a trade in. I try to sell privately first to get the most amount of money (albiet selling privately takes a bit longer but it's worth it).

I ride in a '76 El Camino! Bought it from a guy down the street. Best $200 I ever spent! It needs work, but I starts and runs for about 2 seconds! lol

Either an 06 Jeep Liberty Renegade for family trips or a 97 Honda Accord back and forth to work to save gas, my wife drives the Jeep to work most of the time, because she only works 10 minutes away.

yeah, the one place i took it informed me that by having it for 4 1/2 months it's worth about $4000 less than when i bought it, which means after paying off what i still owe on it i'll come out barely ahead...

I drive a Pontiac Vibe or a Suburban 2500. Depends on how many of our Family of six goes out. The vibe gets over 30 mpg so it is nice when I have to drive the 30 mins to drop off shipments and pick them up. The suburban only gets around 15 MPG but it is the only thing that fits 2 kids, 2 babies in car seats, my wife and I and all the stuff that goes along with us.

Suzuki SX4 - mileage in the high 20s, switchable all wheel drive (can turn it off, leave it on auto, or lock it at a 50/50 split), 9 speaker stereo, abs, traction control, stability control, and I can fit a mountain bike in the back. I love it. There's no other car at this price point with all these features.

Well...
Tim and I both drive white, Ford F-150 vans for work. They both are equipped with obnoxious flashy lights (for off-roading down the shoulder of the interstate or pulling up on crime scenes) and both have blue "license plates" on the front with funeral wreaths and our van numbers on them. Other than that, its completely unmarked.

His personal vehicle is a gold 2002 Toyota Tundra pick up, which is currently being "borrowed" by our oldest son.:main_rolleyes:
