What kind of medium

what works well for u guys as a medium in ur laying boxes. Should i use the moss that i have in there moist hides or should i use perlite. Dont want vermic. due to aspestos. PS i cant spell that word.LOL

I use peat moss myself but i suppose as long as there is a place to lay the eggs it doesnt really matter
