what kind of people..

would do this to a creature?!
i have seen the same lil leo in a pet store for 5 months now..i wouldnt rescue it i told myself...even though there was no water, no heat, on sand, and crickets as large as it! and it had MBD. :bigcry:
i went today i had decided if it was still there i was saving it.
i know never save one that is that bad but even if all i had been able to do was to get it put to sleep humanely i wouldve felt better!
i got there today and it was dead...in the aquarium still......
along with 2 rats in an aquarium next to it dead. :main_angry:
what kind of person lets this happen to animals?!
id been in there and talked to the owners and workers SEVERAL times.
about ALL their animals. none of them were in proper living conditions. they had 7 full grown rats in a 10 gal. a 10 gal is hardly enough room for A RAT much less 7!!
they had ferrets that were half dead eating rabbit food. everything was eating rabbit food except the reptiles and fish. the reptiles (who were all skinny and looked horrible) had crickets. if there were any left alive. the fish were in nasty aquariums and they smelled. they had a bird. no food no water for it. and i dont know if it was even alive it was on the bottom of a HAMSTER cage not moving. :bomb:
i blew up in there. i went off. i cried. i screamed. i was hysterical. even the puppies werent taken care of there was feces all over there cages and they had matts!!
i am calling health regulations or whatever the heck that place is called cuz i KNOW it wasnt clean enough to pass inspection.
i had to get it off my chest. i couldve killed someone today. i was so angry. i thought i was gonna have a mental and emotional breakdown. the people that were working didnt CARE they looked at me and said theyd talk to the manager they couldnt take the dead animals out without her permission. :argue: *What* is wrong with THEM!? :bigcry:

Wow, that's sad. I would report them to the Better Business bureau and also to the ASPCA. they need to be taken out of business. Yuk.

I think this is a clear case of animal neglect and a pet store of all the places should be held responsible for this kind of cruelty to their animals. I think you should of called the better business bureau and animal control. Not sure if there are other places to call in this matter but I think it is a start.

:main_yes:You should also go back there and take pictures of everything that is dead, sick and all the empty food and water dishes. Also the nasty tanks. Other wise its your word against theirs and without proof your word wont mean much. If they tell you not to take pictures ignore them, they can't force you out. they are no longer in business and their store rental area or whatever u wish to call it has to be quarantined for a couple years because they were selling the puppies..and the puppies had parvo. sick people..
