What kind of saw to use to cut blocks of cocofiber?

I'm not sure where to ask this, and I feel like it's kind of a dumb question, but I am not the handy sort. :) I have blocks of cocofiber and currently the only way I have to cut off pieces of it for the moist hide is to use a japanese hand saw my Mom gave me years ago. It's a real pain to do. What type of saw do people use (power or hand) to cut this stuff easily? As it stands I don't change the cocofiber out often enough because I dread cutting it.

I haven't been very successful in cutting it. They sell small discs of it and even though they're a bit more expensive they might be a better choice than a huge block if you only use a bit. I just soak a huge block and keep the excess in a sealed bin for the next time I need it.

I might have to go that route with the remaining blocks. I'll have to get some large tupperware containers. Will it keep OK like that while wet? I can store it in my basement where it's cooler, at least.

I just put it in the bag wet but you could always leave it in a bin to dry out and then bag it if you prefer.

I leave my bin open for a week or two and turn it every few days to encourage most of the moisture to evaporate. If you put it in something more airtight than I am it should be okay damp. Cocofiber shouldn't have any organic matter in it so things shouldn't start to grow on it unless something gets into it.
