Don't be fooled, many people have told me he looks deformed because they mistake part of the log for him and think his body is humongous! i think he looks completely normal in the picture, and you guys probably will think the same because you've seen them often before. he's entirely normal, and actually pretty skinny. what morph is he? i've seen many that look like him. also, do you know around what age? i heard that if the stripes aren't spots yet then he is very young..anyway, here he is.

I was almost positive he was normal but I wanted to make sure. And really, that young? i figured atleast five months seeing as i've seen tiny ones half his size but i really had no clue so thank you. any idea how long it'll take him to adjust and open up to me? i've done my fair share of research and i heard it should take about a week but he still seems to be frightened whenever i take off the top to feed him or do whatever. although he's happy with the food haha

He could be older, just judging from the pic and applying that to what I've seen in my geckos.

If you just got him and he's eating already that's pretty good. I say let him get used to his home for a week or two before trying to handle him at all. That way he will get used to everything first. "baby steps"

yeah he actually usually eats all i've been giving him too, about 3 to 6 crickets a day. i just looked over and he was climbing all the way up the log and went to sortof climb down and hopped a good 3 inches down the log and i didn't really see how it ended up. hope he's okay

He looks ok, i mean, i wouldnt place an age on him, they can be stunted in growth depending on how they are treated in stores. Though, biologically, i think Joey is correct.
Cute little normal. Dont think that all leos will just inherently warm up and become hand friendly though, some do very quickly, some take a long time and others simply dont.

Not necessarily no. While the stripes are part of the baby pattern, as stated, stunting can effect that. Every time the leo sheds the stripes will fade just a fraction more, the leo only sheds when its growing, SO if a leo is barley growing then it can retain its stripes for longer then usual. You can already see the faint spots on your guy, it may take a year for the stripes to completely fade out. Wish i had pics to show you of my little SHTCTB but unfortunately, since shes a superhypo, her stripes just faded into nothing :p
