Hi there!

I am new to this forum and am excited to read through all the information here. Anyways I don’t know a lot about leopard gecko coloration and was hoping to get someopinions on my Leo just out of general curiosity. Also I wanted to mention that he came to me with his stubby tail. Before he was mine he was my eight grade science’s class pet and before that I have no idea. But, he has found his forever home with me . Anyhow here is a picture of him. He is ussuly a lot brighter, but he is going to shed his skin soon. I’ll post a better picture after he finishes shedding.

Your gecko is a nice normal leopard gecko. By that I mean that the original leopard geckos were mustard yellow (the natural kind, not the baseball park hotdog fake yellow kind) with black spots. Your gecko's spots are small, kind of like speckles. This means that it's possible that it got a blizzard gene from one parent (google blizzard leopard gecko to see what that looks like). Often if a gecko has 1 blizzard gene they tend to have smaller speckles instead of spots (in order to look like a blizzard gecko, it would have to have 2 blizzard genes). It's no guarantee, but a possibility.
