I recently got a leopard gecko from a man who didn't want the gecko anymore, he said himself he didn't really look after it since he's into snakes.
The gecko is really skinny and small and I'm guessing it's a juvi but I can't really tell. She's yellow bodied with a white tail with black spots on it, and I just noticed faint grey bands across the body. I have no idea what morph it is, so if anybody recognises please help me, if you want I can take pics too :p

Ok I just found this pic which looks like my gecko - http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ28Qj-bEhPaKrTeg392-5JTQkFyzAtEEwdamehXCT_rIXlOJ2A5A&t=1
except mine is waaaaaaaaaaaay skinnier and without the orange pigmentation.

poor baby. i'm thinking Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Baldy, or SHTCTB. I bet once you get it healthy, that orange will be very bright. keep us updated

I agree. It's not in too bad a shape; I've seen worse. You're right, it's still a juvie. Just fatten it up, and it should develop into a beautiful gecko with quite a bit of carrot tail! :main_yes:

The Super Hypos have no spots on the body, while SHTCTBs have no spots on the body or head. The OPs gecko has no spots on the body or head, and has a Tangerine color, therefore making it a Super Hypo Tangerine Baldy. I don't think it has enough solid orange on the tail to be considered a Carrot Tail.

Noob question but can some SHTB exist without the carrot tail? All the pictures I've seen have a carrot tail.

Yeah, but their not that common. As Janece said, the Carrot Tail may come back as it gains color.
