I have a California Desert Tortoise and a Hogg Island Boa Constrictor.

What other pets besides geckos do you have?

Cats and reptiles don't usually mix well! How does everyone get along? Pretty well?

They get along surprisingly well, the cats and the tort anyway. Those will ignore each other except for the occasional sniff. I try to keep the gecko out of reach of the cats because they see him as prey. The cats would sit next to/on top of his cage and stare at Kai all day if I let them. Kai seems to like staring at them too, oddly enough. He'll come out of his hiding place and sit right near them, and follow them from inside the glass. He's a weird one.

I have a Three Toed Box turtle, 2 cats, 2 Schipperke dogs, and 2 Double Yellow Head Amazon parrots. I have no gecko(s) at this time.
My son has been asking about a "Bright Purple Tokay" and due to a friendly storekeeper explaining to me how to make "any Tokay Gecko hand-tame" he might talk me into it soon.

What a great mix of pets and people so far!
It's difficult to just have one pet. Especially when it comes to reptiles!

Besides my geckos (8 species), I'm also keeping five species of roaches (2 species for feeders, the other 3 as "pets").

I've been raising super worms... and I gotta say, I don't think its worth it. They grow VERY slowly!!! How fast do the feeder roaches reproduce?

It depends on the species, and I have just started two of my feeder colonies......but I have heard that Blatta lateralis are pretty fast reproducers (I will let you know in a month if the colony gets going....)

As you can see from my signature, I've pretty much got a zoo in my home. Thank goodness the geckos don't take up a whole lot of room! Besides the geckos, I could name them all but it would take a while, we've got 3 cats, Wiley, Gabbie and Libbie, a bunny, Nibbles, and a sand boa, J.T.
Oh! Can't forget the thousands of crickets and dubia roaches, but they aren't actually pets, just feeders.

Wow - some of you have an entire menagerie! I guess if I had my own home I'd want a fair amount of pets too... :) Once you get the bug, you're addicted for life!

Well to name everything I have now, as well as take care of part time, goes something like this.

15+(I lose track!) crested geckos, 4 gargoyle geckos, 2 leopard geckos, 1 40 breeder salt water tank, 1 cichlid tank, 2 community tanks, praying mantises, roach colonies, 3 mice, 2 rats, 1 cat, 4 chickens, 1 guppy tank, and looking to get a peacock day gecko some time in the future. :)

I have had dozens of other animals as well, like poison dart frogs, pacman frogs, a corn snake, green tree frogs, sheep, a llama, a horse, dogs, and knobtail geckos. I would like to say I have a well rounded family! Thank God my brother and Father put up with me...
