What paint on my new cage?

Just wondering if there is a special type of paint to use on my new cage?

try non-toxic acrylic craft paint... That's what i used on my tropical paladarium. holds up well in a warm humid enviroment so it should be fine in a warm dry one... you can make some really natural colors by mixing it too.

i'd use grout

We've used high gloss enamel and added a coat of polyurethane over the top. It was for big snakes, but it helped to keep the wood from warping.
