What set-up a leo needs?

Hello,

I would like to get a leopard gecko and I would like to now how to set up a tank for it. I now mainly the basics that in needs a humid hide and mabey another one, it also needs a heat pad, water;food; and calcium dishes. What else does it need and where could I buy it from. Also how would you set it up?

You will need!!!
- Under Tank Heater that will take atleast 1/3 of your tank, only put to ONE side.
- At least 3hides.. one on the cool side, one on the warm and a humid hide on the warm side!
- Water dish with water!
- Your going to need suppliments: Pure Calcium, Calcium w. D3, and Vitamins! With Pure Calcium left on the cage at ALL TIMES!
- A digital thermoter with probe!
- A thermostat to maintain the heat!
- Non loose substrate such as paper towels, unprinted newpapers, reptile carpet or slate/ceramic tile.

You can find this things anywhere.. online or your local petshop! Open your eyes and look around or ask they should have it.

For 1 leopard gecko:

-10-20 gallon long glass terrarium - more FLOOR space the better
-Under tank heater
-Thermostat
-Digital Thermometer
-Tank substrate (tile, paper towel, newspaper)
-Food/Water dish
-Three quality hides - I wouldnt recommend open hides like half logs. One humid hide, one warm-side hide and one cool-side hide. Its natural for Leos to hide nearly ALL the time, if they cant they will get stressed out and be less healthy.
-All the supplies, dusts and gutload for feeder insects

Optional - More hides, Lighting, Timer, Hammocks, Rocks.

Also keep in mind Leopard geckos are solitary animals. They wont enjoy friends and housing multiple geckos and lead to many health issues.
