what sex is this fat tail?

Hello everyone, my buddy has an african fat tailed gecko, its about 2 years old he got it shortly after i got my first AFT. Now that im looking into breeding my aft's he is thinking about it aswell after he see's how my little project goes. Anyways the problem is that we are debating between whether or not his AFT is male or female. It seems to have fairly large bumps under its tale but the V shaped pores are fairly faint... I have some pictures but they are pretty low quality but i hope u guys can help us out and let us know what sex this AFT is. Both pics are of the same gecko thanks.

Can you try getting less blurry pics? What I do is, I put them in a clear delicup and shine a light on their "underside", and then take Macro pics.
It may be a two person job, but you can sometimes get nice clear pics of the pore/vent area.

the bulges indicate male to me.try putting him in a clear tub or lunch box and taking a pic!
