I have a mack super snow that I want to breed next season ( when she's old enough). She is 100% het for Las Vegas Albino and petternless. I'm new to the whole gecko thing, and it will be my first breeding project. I am planning on doing it mostly for the experience, but would maybe like to make a couple of extra bucks with it. Please help me out.

I was thinking a blizzard or blazing blizzard. What do you think of that? Or what kind of combo would I get breeding with a LV Albino? They wouldn't all turn out to be LV Albino right?

Depends on what you want to achive in the End and how much you are willing to spend. Albey(His link is at the top of the page) has some stuff that would work excellent for you project IMO. He has some Very Nice Male Enigma het LVPA that would be perfect for your project. :main_thumbsup: Make sure you tell Albey Paco sent you.:D

What would that give me in the end? Not sure I would really want to spend the $600-800 to start up that project seeing as it would be my first one. I don't know how much of a market I would have here where I'm at, and I don't know of any shows around my area where I could set up shop to sell them.

Hey man I know it's seems expensive and it is. The Enigma Morph is one of the Newest and IMO the Coolest traits to date and when crossed into other morphs is making some incredable looking animals. Do a search for Enigma on here and take a look at everyones reactions to what is being produced. I can understand where you are coming from, it can be a diffcult decision but you will be happy no matter what project you decide to go with. Breeding Leos is just a Fun and exciting experience, when everything goes right of course, and remember things don't allways go as planned. So be prepared. Good Luck. The Internet Is a Powerful selling tool.

Enigma het LVPA x SS het LVPA these are apporx outcome no guarantee's

12.5% Snow
25% Snow Het. LVPA
12.5% Snow LVPA
12.5% Snow Enigma
25% Snow Enigma Het. LVPA
12.5% Snow Enigma LVPA, which is a very new morph if it's even out yet and could be worth a lot. The market will tell.

Ok, thanks. I'm still really open to the Enigma idea too. Thanks for that one. I just wish they didn't cost so much...lol. I'd be interested to maybe get some new morphs out of that.

Super Snow het Rainwater Patternless X RW Blazing Blizzard would give you:

mack snows 100% het rainwater and blizzard, 50% het patternless
rainwater mack snows 100% blizzard, 50% patternless

After a couple of seasons of selective breeding with this project, you could possibly end up with Super Snow Rainwater Patternless Blazing Blizzards, which would probably be just another white gecko with solid black eyes.

If you were to go this route, make sure you get a rainwater blazing blizzard. Also, it seems like a really confusing and fruitless project for a beginner, to me atleast.

For the average beginner I'm sure it would be. The genetics ae kind of confusing to me, but I'm a pretty quick learner when I want to be. This is something I can get myself into. I've already started picking up books, and trying to learn. Any suggestions on books btw?

You might also want to try Genetics for Dummies. It worked great for me. There is also a great book on this link

http://www.vmsherp.com/4SaleLeopards.htm You might want to check that out. You might also find a boyfriend for your girl. SSLV, het PA, for $175. No really all that bad, but you do have to pay for shipping. If you did buy one then you would get.

37.5% Super Snow, het Las Vegas, 66% het Patternless
12.5% Super Snow Patternless, het Las Vegas Albino
37.5% Super Snow Las Vegas Albino, 66% het Patternless
12.5% Super Snow Patternless Las Vegas Albino

This is the cheaper route, for a beginning breeder. Although if you had the money, enigmas are cool. However I would say shop around, don’t just look at what Albey has. As EVERYBODY has enigma. The price will drop here pretty soon as well, so you might want to hold off, on buying one if you do decided to, as your girl cannot breed anyways, for what it sounds like. I read something that said enigma price was going down $1.38 everyday or something like that. So wait. And yes about that blazing blizzard idea, if you do decided to do that, make sure it is the Las Vegas strain, not the tremper strain. You will not be able to sell mixed albino babies.

By all means shop around. I suggested Albey because he has Enigmas that fit into his project. Also Albey allready dropped the price of those Enigmas he has for sale in Half from 3 weeks ago. So they are a pretty good deal right now. If you wait until Later, there is allways another later and another. Until things are cheap enough that everyone will be able to buy them. It's just a matter of how long do you want to really wait?
