What should I get?

Not sure if this goes here. It's not leopard specific (in fact I know not to get leopards for this) nor does it have to do with geckos in specific. Move this if you have to, mods :)

I have a 13 7/8in x 14 1/2in x 53 1/2in (L x W x H) modified cabinet-shelf thing (plexiglass front, i can replace it with whatever if I have to) and I'm looking for something 'new' to put in it.

I'd like to move away from geckos, and I'm not allowed to have snakes. However if the only things that can go in a rack-shelf-iarium of this size are geckos, then that's okay :)

Suggestions?

It sounds like a good sized enclosure for some of the moderately large lizards like bearded dragons, ackies, usomastyx or fire skinks. To find out for sure, just google one of the lizards above and "care".

The problem is that it's oriented up, not across. It would have to be something aboreal. I'd love to get an ackie at some point, though! :)

I would get a crested although you sayed that you wanted to get away from geckos or a Chameleon but you should change the plexi-glass to screen if you do that.
