What size container 4 mealie beetles?

I have a possible cntainer for the mealies(medium size critter carrier) and i need to know if this is ok for beetles instead of mealies. the mealies can be put in another critter carrier(im not sure what size......definatley not small but not close to medium either.....) Which would be good for which? also, how much substatrate should i have for the beetles? Oh and i have 100 beeltes coming in so thats y i am asking about the size. If u need pix of both carriers, let me know cuz i have a camera available .

for 100 beetles i'd think a 16 Qt rubbermaid container should work out ok.
they are about 2 bux if you can find em on sale.

substrate; i'd use about 2lb of wheat bran and give em a couple thin slices of apple or potato for water
