What time of day do you handle your leopard gecko?

Hi,

I have been reading a lot of post on here & wanted to know when do you usually take your leopard geckos out ( put them on your hand)
I know they are nocturnal so I wouldn't want to really disturb one during the day, or is that okay?

I am getting my daughter her new leo soon (thanks Daidra) & she would like to hold him & was wondering when the best time would be, or if it really doesn't matter?

My daughter use to have a hamster (5 years ago) & she couldn't go anywhere near him during the day (he would bite) but he was okay at night being nocturnal.

I hold mine whenever I have time--sometimes it's during the day, sometimes it's at night. My leos don't sleep all day, though. They catnap all day and night. I don't hold them if they're sleeping

I hold mine whenever they are outside of their hides and is awake.
