I am aware that it is currently the breeding season for leopard geckos. I have one mature bandit male and one mature tangerine female. I have tried mating them for two years in a row now... and they seem to have done nothing. They have also lived in the same cage for about six months because they sometimes show beginning signs of depression when I separate the two. I seem to not be able to figure this situation out. Last night at about 12:00AM the male vibrated his tail and began to walk toward her and she ran off rejecting him as a mate. Should I separate them for about two weeks and place her in his cage at night time and find out what happens. I need to get a good clutch of eggs this year!:main_yes:

If she is running, then she is not ready to mate. I would suggest separate, and then watch for her to ovulate; and then reintroduce them. Sometimes, things don't go as plan, as far as breeding. I had a beautiful Sunglow pair that never mated in the last three years. ):
