I use mealies because all size geckos can take them easily and have no issues with weight gain. You dont want fat geckos so you want a gradual weight gain...mealies will work just fine

Just curious, where do you live?

You may want to incorporate some extra waxworms in. They are fatty, so don't overdo it, but a few extras might help the gecko put on weight.

My guess would be Florida if he's in the states since all websites say they can't ship there.

Also, geckos can become spoiled on waxies and refuse other foods. So be careful about that and the fat content.

Waxworms are not needed. Along with vitamins and calcium if you feed a diet of crickets, mealworms, or dubias, that are properly gut loaded your gecko should not have any issue putting on weight.
Like Travis and Jennifer said you want a gradual weight gain for a health gecko.

Supers have been great for my geckos. Really help put weight back on my females who spent months laying. Just have to be careful to not overfeed.
