What would be good for this?

I was wondering what would be a good substrate/medium for a leo to lay her eggs in?I heard that somethings make the eggs mold up and others mess up the eggs.

I have had very good luck with coco fiber (eco earth, bed a beast). Early on I was using vermiculite until I noticed that one of my males was eating it and it was coming out the other end. You just have to check it and moisten it when it dries out.

I second the coco fiber or coir. I have had well over a hundred eggs laid this season and no problems, I would recommend mixing it with a little sand to help hold in the moisture though. It just dries out faster than desired by itself.

I have coco fiber mixed with sand in my coleonyx enclosure and the only problem is that the sand grains stick to the eggs.
