I think so too. My geckos always hang around their wood and stuff...if my geckos can speak, I wonder what they'll say to me...probably complaining about their food....:furious3: LOL

I wouldnt cover the whole floor of the cage with stuff but make sure they have hides,humid hide, water and calcium dish, and thats good IMO.

If you have the room one piece of drift wood or something would be nice for them to climb on and get some sort of exercise. I honestly one have one gecko that will consistently climb on her wood so she's the only one with it in her cage.
