whats the record for most clutches laid?

Whats the most clutches a leopard gecko has laid in one season? I know what the average is just trying to find out what the most people actually know about.I have a female im going to name the machine going on her 11th clutch and the tenth clutch was fertile

Were they one egg clutches or two? Some of my females lay only one at a time, but they always have a medium sized egg in them, like they just lay the eggs more evenly apart.

Holy Shmokes! That is a lot of eggs. None of my females have laid anywhere near that many. Although on a side note I have had females lay clutches only 8 days apart rather than the usual 2-5 weeks.

I know....I had another female a couple years ago who was a first year breeder who laid 10 clutches 9 of which were fertile with only one introduction to the male:main_laugh:

Here is something for you... WHen I was breeding heavy I had females that would give me 20 eggs a year. No joke... Blizzard females tend to give me more. My average is 12-14 eggs a female or 6-7 clutches. My females were fed well. I did have a SHTCT that I bred to a SSE give me 24 eggs in a year. all but one was fertile. I worked with the following when I was breeding before.

I have a first year breeder who has laid 10 clutches of 2 years so far, all fertile, and is now on her 11th as well. I have had other first year breeders lay half of what she has, but she just keeps going and has only been introduced to the male once
