What's your longest...

season for a single female?

I ask because I've never had a female lay more than 13 clutches in around six months... However, I had a female ('01 Bell) poop out clutch number 16 today! She started laying last August... Quite a few have been infertile, but these look good...

I had a female lay 17 clutches in one season, even after pulling her from breeding after her 7th clutch. Unfortunately, she died from laying herself to death.

This female hasn't been paired up since December... I'm really worried now after reading your comment... I didn't know they would or rather could do that... She is a healthy 70 grams and bounces back quick after laying... Hopefully she stops after this clutch...

be kind, please rewind I had a girl lay for 8 months last year, but only 10 clutches. She, just laid her first clutch after a 4 month break. She's a 97 gram giant with a killer thick tail.

I had one lay 12 clutches and died a few months after she stopped. I really think she did lay herself to death.

I have a Blizzard who is on her 10th clutch. She has laid like clockwork ever since July. She's fat and just as happy as can be (she also loves pinkies)....hopefully it doesn't have a fatal affect on her.

Also, I know Josh had a female a couple of season's ago that laid 13 clutches but ever since then has only laid one or two, I think she got tired of breeding, lol.
