When does their feeding slow down? At what age. Herman is about six months old and he appears to be eating less. Is this normal?

By the way, Herman isn't a boy. No way, I got a good shot of it this week. Gotta change his name.

I guess what my question is, when did you start feeding every other day? Is six months too early?

He doesn't seem to be eating as often this week. I can't have crickets running around in there all the time.

I have read in many places people feed every other day at about the 40g mark but my Yuna seems to keep on eating every day so till she looks very overweight I am carrying on as normal :main_laugh:

Puzzle stopped eating as much after he was about 6 months. I was feeding him every day, but I found that he wasn't eating the crickets and I was wasting them and having to take them out of his cage a lot. So I started feeding him every other day and now every time I feed him he eats his whole dinner.

From what I've read, only as babies and very young juveniles do they need to eat every day. In my opinion, if he's (whoops, SHE hahaha) isn't eating, she's not hungry. If you switch the schedule to eating every other day and she eats everything you give her every other day, that's ok. :)

Yeah, I think she ate the leftovers finally last night. I'll throw a couple in there tonight to see how she does.
