i wanted and tried to look it up, but put something in the search box like "first time feeding leopard gecko" or just using some word used on here alot...It will basically give you any post with any of them words in it. So i wanted to know. when can i feed my new hatching, she watched Wednesday and is doing well, i know she has to shed first but when will that be? i saw some site saying wait 3 days or up to a week. so when do you feed yours?

oh ok, Well i know with snakes they can die if you feed them before hand and don't wait till they have there first shed, i was wondering do geckos have the same risk?

I usually start putting worms in there at 2-3 days. I've actually had some eat before their first shed, but most will wait until after the shed. Most of mine have shed by 3 days old.

They can shed rather quickly. I know I have missed some of mine shed. Just tonight when I changed papers I say old skin in one of the tubs, but had no idea that one of the babies was about to shed. I know it had to happen in the last 24 hours. It sounds like yours may have shed, so I say try a feeder.
