When to stop breeding?

I think you can breed her as long as she is producing and recovers well. I have females who have initially produced well and then their number of hatchlings dropped way down, or stopped entirely. They are in semi-retirement: they live with a non-aggressive male and if something happens, then it does. So far, nothing happened this season. The semi-retired females are my oldest, but not that old --6 and 7 years old.

I have three 8 year old females.
One gave me 6 eggs, another 5, and the other only gave me one fertile and two infertile eggs.

And it was their first time EVER laying eggs.
