Where do you buy mealworms?

I had a MISERABLE experience with grubco. Since it got such good reviews here I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered 1000 large meal worms. The 'large' are about 1/2 inch. I was also charged 25 for shipping when I was quoted 6. I called to set things straight and they said that I recieved the proper sized worms that 1/2 inch is what they sell as larges. (the same size as small meal worms at p3tc0) Also that there is a shipping disclaimer so they can change shipping without notifying you. I was told I was more than welcome to return them (pay for return shipping) and recieve a 7.70 refund. So my meal worms cost about 3x more than at the chain pet store. NOT AT ALL SATISFIED. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I can get 500 normal sized mealworms from pet** for $7.00. It's a good deal. I can also get 100 giant mealworms for $5.00.

Well I went through the order process. Never got a confirmation email and was never charged. I'll attribute it to the holidays. I'm going to give new york worm a shot since I'm in CT.

I have never had a problem with NY. I have been ordering for over a year and always get quality worms. My only problem with them is that they charge too much to ship wax worms, but the mealworms are worked into the price you see.

WOWzers that's not worth it. Make your own colony. It will save you so much more than if you order from that place. Unbelievable!

ya i have a colony started but i didnt start with alot so i want to get one good size bulk order. ive got beetles and some baby worms but they are like microscopic right now.
