I think I bought from the same ebay seller you did. I got my sister 1000 for her beardie. 2 months later, she just did a clean out and there were still 600 good worms. She also started trying to breed them, but the beardie didn't like them much, so she listed the rest of the worms, plus a bunch of beetles and pupae for $25 on craigslist and got a buyer within an hour.

I order from Grubco, they may say they dont guarantee in hot or cold weather, but I've NEVER had ANY DOA's! Also someone is always available to sign for them;)

Just checked out their site they seem to stand behind their product which is good plus its next day so no waiting. thank you for the heads up. I see people are keeping their worms on bran or oats or both. does anyone just use oats? im having a bit of trouble finding bran at a smaller quantity for a good price.
Our vita-supers comes with a small bag of our special vita-feed (organic wheat bran, soy protein powder, calcium derived from oyster shells and hawaiian spirulina)

47$ for 1000 worms--yikes!
I do realize that we are a little bit more expensive on our vita-supers than other superworms out there, but you have to take into consideration that the Priority shipping is free and we raise them on a special diet consisting of 100% organic red wheat bran, soy protein powder, calcium derived from oyster shells (the only form of organic calcium), and the finest Hawaiian spirulina powder. All the ingredients are 100% organic and the supplements are expensive. So, a little higher priced, but you definitely get Top Quaility guaranteed. Only the best for our pets- right?
