i remember when tremper had that white sided RAPTOR on his page advertised as special, and someother stuff. and AC bought it. what was up with that thing. i really want one. my guess was that it was just a really cool raptor that tremper more or less pulled out of his butt. or was there more to the line or genes that it came from? i just want to know about that perticular RAPTOR, i had my eye on him, then all the sudden he was gone. IMO that is one of the coolest leos ive ever seen.

any info would be appriciated
thanks

I don't know much about that particular project, but I have noticed a lot of variation in raptors as a whole. I've tried to collect some of the lighter ones I could find, just cause I like the way they look...and I've noticed some have all white legs (kind of like the eclipses) with white noses and lighter sides. It makes me curious to see how eclipse enigmas will turn out. That one white sided raptor that Anthony has is beautiful ;)

If I´m not wrong I´ve seen white sided raptors available at ac but that is a bit ago? Not sure but I know the Project name and I must think of AC on it.

that thing is great looking chris. the raptor i produced this year should be a white sided as well. hes not there yet, but each shed just gets whiter and whiter. but nothing compairs to the one that AC got from tremper. that one might as well just be called a white RAPTOR IMO. i wasnt a fan or raptors at all till i seen that one (and of course hatched out my own). i cant say for sure that mine is going to be a white sided, but with anyluck. but all i can say when i see the one anthony has is......drooooooool....

this is mine at 15g just befor a shed

here he is at about 23g just after a shed.

Glad to hear your raptors are doing well, guys! There is a lot of variation in the raptors, and some do have more white on their sides than others. Whether it's genetic or not, I don't know. I haven't tried to reproduce it. Here is a female that we produced this last year that is particularly light with a lot of white on her sides. I think she's pretty cool.

They are very cool, but they would normally have "white bottoms", and on some of them the white comes up the sides more. They are coming out a little bit different, that`s not really something you can call a "new" morph IMO.

I am sure you could linebreed for that appearance, but I am thinking it is not something that will reproduce itself all of the time. Just like the rest of the genetics that come along with the R/Aptors.

I agree.

Merry Christmas all!

This is a nice female ruby-eyed raptor I got from AC. She may be an offspring of the white-sided one you are refering to. She is the top two (on slate) pictures on his raptor "projects page"
http://www.acreptiles.com/geckos_leopard_raptor.htm
This is her now at 75 grams:

And speaking of Jason's fine quality raptors... I got this male ruby-eyed raptor
from him not too long ago:

He is now 87 grams. They would make a nice pair, yes?:main_thumbsup:
But, I think I'm going to breed her to this guy I got from Kelli:
