Thats actually a bit of a misconception. Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and several other northern states are far from dry in the winter. Why do you think we get so much snow up here?
I agree, but the AIR gets extremely dry up here.
I think the cry baby (and I say that good humor :main_laugh Floridians are talking about the humidity.
I think they mean that not only is it cold there, but they somehow manage to still have wet air.
