"I am under the impression that animals and reptiles kill only for food or when threatened. On the other hand, humans kill in the name of religion, for riches, to expand territory occupied by others and simply for the sadistic joy of murder and torture, as in the case of psychotics and serial killers. Considering my granddaughter's boyfriend gave her a snake for her birthday, I'd really like to know if she is safer with the snake or some of the sleazy characters she has dated.
