Why are some Leos tails thicker than others

Thanks! She seems to be doing great now. She is eating a lot though, I am gut loading her food, she is eating five small crickets in the morning and again in the evening, and six mealies in the morning and again in the evening. Sometimes she leaves one or two in her bowl at night. I just leave them and she eats them at some time before her next nightly feeding.
