Ok i have a female that i have had for 7 months, the breeder i bought her from said she had laid some eggs the season before for him. I have tried to introduce her to males for breeding but nothing is going on.

She is very un-friendly toward any male she does a little hiss and a tail waving warning sign and looks like she is gonna strike. The males act similar to her (no tail excitement)

I have put them on neutral ground to meet and in her tank and even his and still hostility anywhere they meet.

Is it possible she is just not ovulating? If so what would cause this? Im puzzled

I looked at the tummy and no eggs in sight?

I even beefed (she gained 5 grams) her up a little thinkin that she would

wanna mate soon and have a clutch but nothing.

Does anyone know what might be wrong here?

Usually patience is the best cure. It's very rare that a proven female will just not ovulate anymore if she is still a healthy laying age.
