Why won't it cool down?

I have a 30-40 gallon Zoo Med U.T.H. for my 29 gallon tank. The cool side is a perfect 75-76 degrees while the hot side is 95-109 degrees (I measure these temperatures with a Temp. Gun). The heat pad is plugged into the Zoo Med Thermostat. Why isn't the heat pad cooling down? Do these thermostats not work good?

Have you turned the thermostat temperature control way down? If not, try that. If it's still not working, you need to check to see if it's working. If you bought it from a store, take it back there and see if they can check it. If it's working, presumably the "thermostat on" light will come on when the probe is in a place that's not hot enough and will go off when it's in a place that's hot enough or too hot, so test it out.
