Wild Superworms!!!!

About a month ago me and my older brother were herping in our woods and found wild superworms!!Any explanation?

Either someone in your area let some superworms loose and they can survive and reproduce in your climate (I see you live in TN and that may be warm enough) or what you found just looks like superworms but really isn't. A picture would help.
