From what I have read about mouth rot, it has to be a contact thing. Since your gecko is quarantined, I do not foresee him passing it to the other geckos via air. Just be SURE to wash and disinfect your hands and any tools (tweezers, etc) before handling or cleaning any of the other geckos.

Mouth rot (Stomatitis) is a bacterial infection that can easily be passed to other reptiles through contact. Treatment with Betadine is recommended by most vets - not hydrogen peroxide like some people think. If I were you, I would take him to a vet...mouth rot can often be a secondary symptom of another problem. If you have dealt with mouth rot before, then you know how to administer the medication. Keep an eye on him, and good luck!

When no one answers your thread, it's either that they have not seen it, or they simply do not know the answer. Not that we don't care :)

I can definitely understand your angst and frustration. Like I said, there are a lot of "newbies" and a lot of breeders that have been doing this for years and years on this site. I'm sure it wasn't that people didn't care, just that they didn't know the answer. If that ever happens again, and you feel you need an answer immediately, I would look up a herp vet if your area (make sure they specialize in reptiles). They would be able to give you an answer over the phone, to at least ease your mind :) Good luck with your little one!
